TÉCNICAS GÁS Co. - About us

TÉCNICAS GÁS was established in 2000 to invest in the oil, gas, petrochemical and refinery industries. In order to empower the company in global competition and also considering the rich gas resources in Uzbekistan and its strategic location, a 50-hectare land in the Soviet-style special economic zone was acquired and the production complex of this company was exploited and built. Also, this complex is designed to use the maximum energy produced in the synthesis reactors and at the same time use the recycled energy in the units to supply the required energy.

TÉCNICAS GÁS company is registered in Spain, Uzbekistan and recently in England. which operates as a centralized holding and its subsets continue their activities separately under central management.

TÉCNICAS GÁS is a supplier of raw materials feedstocks to Petrochemical Plants Globally. We are operates in more than 30 countries and has offices in several. Our global experience of operating in niche markets to demanding customers worldwide in meeting their raw material requirements is beneficial to both the customer and the manufacturer. Our logistical experience of providing on time delivery at cutting edge price adds value to manufacturers products and adds competitive edge to the customers raw material purchasing.

The management and personnel efforts have brought about establishment of quality management certificate ISO 9001, environmental management system ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and IMS (Integrated Management System) for the company.

The petrochemical industry is a bedrock of modern life. It not only supplies the various fuels that power the transportation sector, but also produces a myriad of other essential raw materials: plastics, medicines, lubricants, synthetic rubbers, and synthetic fibers – to name just a few.

The two most common petrochemical processes are:

- Separation of hydrocarbon fractions by boiling and condensing a hydrocarbon feedstock in a distillation tower. - Production of olefins (ethylene, propylene, etc.) and aromatics (benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.) from heavy hydrocarbon fractions in a cracking reactor.

Both processes rely on heating a feedstock, usually in the presence of a catalyst to boost the chemical reaction.

Application Examples

Distillation and hydrocracking require very specific temperature, pressure, and flow conditions. In addition, closely monitoring these processes can prevent hot spots, thermal runaways, catalyst maldistributions, channeling in the catalyst bed, and other costly problems. Furnace condition monitoring is an especially important step during an economic downturn, when lower throughputs of heavier feedstock can accelerate coking and fouling.

For optimal performance, a petrochemical plant routinely measures temperature, pressure, flow, and level at different points in the following equipment:

- Distillation columns
- Hydrotreaters
- Steam crackers
- Fluidized catalytic crackers (FCCs)
- Hydrocrackers
- Alkylation units
- Reformer furnaces
- Safety Standards and Certifications

The petrochemical industry’s various processes are, to say the least, challenging. For example, distillation and cracking require extremely high temperatures. Feedstocks, intermediate products, and end products are flammable and/or corrosive.

Since 2000, when TÉCNICAS GÁS was founded, we have been involved in the process of designing plants and production plants for customers. In the first step, we updated the existing plants and by changing their structure, we optimized the production side and the grades and products of their production.

Then, our engineering group acquired the knowledge and technologies with which we were able to offer our bachelor's degree.

In 2008, TÉCNICAS GÁS started building its first production complex in Uzbekistan. which was put into operation in 2011 and the ethylene produced by this factory was exported to our partners in Arab countries.

After complete construction with TÉCNICAS GÁS license and receiving quality approvals and competition in the world market, we decided to launch other units in such a way that there is continuity in them and the product of the first unit can be used as feed for the second unit.

This process still exists in TÉCNICAS GÁS and every year after the completion of a unit and its start-up, it starts building a new plant.

Our organizational structure of office management:

TÉCNICAS GÁS is the voice of the European petrochemical industry, representing about 70 member companies (including affiliated members) with a turnover of 145 billion Euro, not including the turnover of its customer industries.

Our Vision
As a fundamental sector to most industrial ecosystems, the petrochemicals industry drives innovation in sustainable, safe and circular solutions, while transforming its own environmental footprint. We are constantly focusing on gaining a competitive advantage over the company's world –class rivals, being superior at safety, enhancing and making sustainable profit.

Our Mission
As the voice of the TÉCNICAS GÁS industry, we:

- Promote best practices in safety, environment and health throughout the industry.
- Engage pro-actively with all stakeholders including members, industrial customers, EU policymakers in the pursuit of circular, sustainable and innovative solutions.
- Advocate for a science-based regulatory framework that will facilitate Europe’s industrial transition to climate neutrality and circularity whilst ensuring our industry’s success in a highly competitive global environment.
- Raise awareness of the industry’s key contribution to Europe’s sustainable future as it drives innovation and creates prosperity for most industrial ecosystems in Europe.
- Encourage the industry to be at the forefront of EU’s transition to sustainable economy, through innovative projects.
- Support the EU Green Deal’s ambition to become climate neutral by 2050, a goal that cannot be reached without a strong chemical industry.
- To produce high quality petrochemical products (ethylene, polyethylene, and …) in a healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly manner through optimizing resource management, enhancing human capital, and satisfying the needs of all interested parties.

Our Priorities TÉCNICAS GÁS’s key priorities to achieve our vision by 2050 are the following:

- Electrification,
- Recycling & Mass Balancing,
- Technology & Innovation,
- Hydrogen,
- Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability,
- ETS & CO2 Neutrality,
- Energy Process Efficiency,
- Global Level Playing Field.

Our Structure
Besides its common-core activities, TÉCNICAS GÁS comprises products and sector groups, each with its specific set of objectives.
TÉCNICAS GÁS looks for and encourages any possible cross-fertilisation around issues of interest to all petrochemical sectors, in particular in the field of health, safety and environment, scientific and technical issues, market intelligence and communications. One of TÉCNICAS GÁS’s priorities is also to achieve efficient co-ordination along the industry chain, so as to deliver consistent messages to its industry’s stakeholders, taking advantage of the quantum leap in information technology that we have been witnessing in the last few years.

Our Values
The values of the organization are the basic and indefectible principles originated from the mass and leaders’ beliefs. These beliefs are significant and substantively taken on priority as well as being considered as reliable and indispensable bases.
